Totals, rounding, and line amount mismatches

Validators recalculate invoice totals from line items, allowances, charges, tax subtotals, prepayments, and rounding.

What you may see

Line sum does not match invoice total
Tax inclusive amount does not match
Payable amount does not match
Tax subtotals do not match total tax
Minor rounding difference detected
PDF tax does not match export tax
Prepaid amount exceeds invoice total

What this means

E-invoice validators recalculate totals from line items, allowances, charges, tax subtotals, prepayments, and rounding. If those numbers do not add up, the invoice can be rejected.
