Explanation

Uses the RO_CIUS XML schema, a Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 derivative; transmission is via the Spațiul Privat Virtual (SPV) portal or its API.

Domestic B2B transmission has been mandatory since July 2024. EAS scheme 9947 can identify a Romanian Peppol participant when the parties agree to use that route; Peppol is not the universal route for Romanian cross-border invoices.
